Claude Code used to handle roughly 90% of my AI work. Now I’ve moved every client workload from Claude Code to Codex.
This wasn’t about benchmarks. It was about trust, control, and whether I could reliably ship production work. Today, GPT-5.6-Sol handles about 70% of my work, while Kimi K3 and DeepSeek V4 handle the other 30% through open-weight tooling.
